WATER COLOR POSTER DESIGN

Layout- is the sketch or idea source that you will use as is or with modifications.
Graphic- An illustration or image that relates to the written idea being expressed.
Water Color Wash - a liquid mixture of water and a small amount of color pigment.
Water Color Brush - A very soft brush that allows wet washes to apply freely, usually camel squirrel or another soft variety of hair.
Guide Lines- Tell the artist how tall or wide an object or letter will be.

CONCEPT AND DIRECTIONS:
Think of an everyday saying, verse or quotation that will be lettered using an abstracted kind of approach where each space or area, both inside and outside letters is painted with a wash color.

Use as many mixed colors as possible.

Good technique in water color involves not getting color 'muddy' or thick.
